The photographer was, I think, a female friend of Miss Hammond

The Cubs were on a weekend trip up a hill called Kiboriani somewhere near Kongwa.
The building behind us was a mission, which according to a present website is apparently now derelict.
I cannot remember how we got to or from the hill. Maybe somebody else will know!.

At Kongwa School the inmates were spilt among four Houses: Curie, Livingstone, Nightingale and Wilberforce. The Livingstone group photo, if I remember correctly, was taken outside the library in the Secondary School playground.
